What happens if something goes wrong

A used engine or transmission is a big purchase. Here’s exactly how you’re covered.

It doesn’t fit

If we sent the wrong part, we pay return freight and you choose a replacement or a full refund. Send us your VIN before ordering and we’ll check it first.

It arrives damaged

Inspect it before you sign. Note any damage on the delivery receipt, take photos and contact us. We cover return freight and replace or refund it.

It fails under warranty

Your 30-day parts warranty covers the core internal parts. Stop driving, get a diagnosis from a licensed shop, and we’ll replace the part or refund it. Labor isn’t covered.

You change your mind

Cancel within 24 hours for a full refund if it hasn’t shipped. Uninstalled parts can be returned within 30 days (20% restocking fee plus freight).

Paying safely

You get a written quote before you pay, and you pay by card, which comes with your card issuer’s purchase protection.

Here’s what you should know

Will it fit my vehicle?

We match parts by year, make, model and engine or transmission code, and your VIN when you have it. Before you pay, your specialist tells you exactly which vehicle the part came from so you and your mechanic can check it too. If we send the wrong part, we cover return freight.

Is it OEM?

Yes. We sell used original-equipment (OEM) engines and transmissions removed from donor vehicles. They are not aftermarket or rebuilt units unless your quote says so.

What does the warranty cover?

Our standard coverage is a 30-day parts warranty. The warranty that applies to your part is written on your quote and invoice. It covers the core internal parts. Bolt-on accessories, sensors, wiring and labor are not covered. See the warranty page for the installation requirements.

How quickly can it arrive?

It depends on where the part is and where it’s going. You get a delivery estimate with your quote, and a tracking number when it ships.

Can I return it?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery if it hasn’t been installed or taken apart. If we made a mistake, return freight is on us. If you ordered the wrong part or changed your mind, there’s a 20% restocking fee and you pay freight.
